Labor Support
Dr Castro is available to provide labor support at your home, birth center or hospital. Labor support may include soft tissue techniques to help ease contractions or chiropractic adjustments to properly align the spine and pelvis. Couples find this type of support very helpful during labor as they are able to be in the moment together while Dr Castro takes care of the mother-to-be.

Prenatal Chiropractic Visit
30 minute myofascial release to address any pregnancy related symptoms. Common conditions include low back pain, mid back pain, shoulder pain, rib pain, groin pain, pubic bone pain, wrist pain, foot/ankle pain, headaches, and ligament pain. Labor preparation work and chiropractic adjustment as needed to properly align the pelvis and promote an optimal fetal position. Instruction in an appropriate stretching routine will be discussed as needed to promote opening of the hips. Our goal is to relax tight muscles, decrease pain, improve function, remove any joint restrictions and prepare your body for birth.

Prenatal Chiropractic Visit- Breech Baby
30 Min myofascial release relaxes muscles and ligaments around the hips and pelvis to help decrease any intrauterine constraint. A Chiropractic adjustment implementing the Webster Technique will also be utilized. This specialized chiropractic treatment will help to create more space in the pelvis to allow your baby to naturally turn to a head down position.

Pediatric Chiropractic Visit
Chiropractic evaluation and adjustment as needed to address any misalignments in the spine. Chiropractic treatment for children is very safe and gentle. Adjusting techniques on children are very different than those performed on adults and can be done as early as minutes after birth. The benefit of chiropractic treatment on infants, toddlers and school-aged children can help to address the central cause of concerns instead of just managing symptoms.

Postpartum Chiropractic Visit
30 minute myofascial release and Chiropractic adjustment to address any postpartum related concerns and promote healing. Proper exercises and stretches will be introduced as needed.
